Naomi – ‘Rivers Run’ Review

19 year old songwriter Naomi has wowed us with her debut offering ‘Rivers Run.’ Taking inspiration from the likes of Adele, Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding, Naomi crafts beautiful melodies and intricate instrumentalism for fans of folk and acoustic pop.

Incredibly, Naomi was picked up after a song she wrote for her GCSE exam was picked by ITV Daybreak. Subsequently on this release Naomi has been working with legendary producers John MacLaughin and Dave Thomas who count West Life and Echo and The Bunnymen among their alumni.

There are so many differing genres in Naomi’s music that it would be easy to dismiss it as an incoherent mess. However, the subtly of rock, country, pop and RnB in the mix is that every genre has equal weight leading to a very cohesive release.

River’s Run is out on September 25th.
