Following a string of standout performances supporting Ladyhawke on tour, enigmatic London-based duo Avec Sans release their much anticipated debut album Heartbreak Hi by way of independent record label, Beverly Martel.

A truly instantaneous record, Heartbreak Hi’ fuses Avec Sans’ distinctive electro-pop sound with the relatable narratives that they are quickly becoming recognised for. Anchored by tapping electronic instrumentation, their 13-track offering features standout tracks Shiver, Resonate, When You Go, alongside title track Heartbreak Hi and a stunning new take on their rework of Bon Iver’s Perth.

Heartbreak Hi marries twinkling synth melodies with irresistible hooks ensuring Avec Sans’ sound remains consistently on-point and fresh; a rare quality in the modern music landscape.

2015 saw Avec Sans turn heads, playing live for the first BBC Introducing London live event with Gary Crowley. Appearing on lineups alongside world-class artists such as The Pet Shop Boys, Example and Gorgon City and at events that include The Great Escape (Alt Escape), Redfest, Sounds from the Other City, Kendal Calling and Canadian Music Week, we expect even bigger things to come from one of London’s hottest new exports in 2016.
